About StoryTeller Farms

StoryTeller Farms is managed by Shirin Rupprecht Amier, USDF Silver Medalist and equestrian professional with over 20 years of experience. Students consistently compliment Shirin’s positive and straight forward style of teaching, training and problem solving skills. This approach to training has allowed Shirin to develop horses and riders for multiple equestrian disciplines and succeed in the show ring while turning out a well rounded and versatile horse and rider combination.

Shirin Rupprecht Amier is experienced in training horses for multiple disciplines and instills good foundation, horsemanship and groundwork in all the horses she handles. She started riding at age 4 and began competing in eventing and jumping as a junior before switching to dressage at 16 years of age. She is an accomplished FEI Trainer, USDF Silver Medalist and has won numerous year-end awards in Dressage through FEI levels.  Shirin attended college in California and studied Agriculture and Equine Management and has worked for several top breeding farms.  She holds Regional Titles from USDF (U.S. Dressage Federation),  IALHA (International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association) and has worked with Multiple Breeds and competed in Regional and National breed shows for her clients. Shirin has spent the last 10 years starting and developing young sporthorses for the FEI Young Horse classes and FEI levels in Dressage. Currently, she also trains people and horses for the new Western Dressage classes,  the newest addition to the USEF/USDF.  With her background in both Western Horsemanship and Dressage, this sport is a natural blend for her teaching and training as it incorporates Dressage principles with Western Horsemanship.  Additionally, she teaches juniors, amateurs and professionals in Hunters, Jumpers and  Equitation clinics around the country. She also coaches and trains riders and horses for the  A-Circuit Hunter ring, USET Medals classes, and Eventing Competitions.  Shirin spent 10 years coaching Para-Equestrians with Special Olympics and currently coaches 2 Para-Equestrians.
She was chosen as the Test Rider for the 2010 OHBS (Oldenburg Verband in the U.S.)West Coast Mare Performance Test held in California and has been the West Coast Test Rider for the Oldenburg Verband each year since.  She stands and competes the Approved Oldenburg/RPSI stallion, Lester Patron, at FEI and currently competes an FEI prospect, Santorini STF, by Sandro Hit.

Shirin has been a member of CDS (California Dressage Society) for nearly 20 years, spent 2 years as a Board Member for the Dressage Association of Southern California (DASC) and was also co-chair of the DASC Education Commitee to promote new programs for both riders and trainers wanting to further their goals in the competition arena.  She is currently pursuing her USDF Judging License in Dressage and Western Dressage.   Her goal is to continue to help riders fulfill their ambitions through educational opportunities, horse/rider pairings and riding/training programs.

Shirin continues to carry on the traditions of excellence in her training programs and strives to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
